8 yr old graqnddaughters silkie died yesterday and she is heartbroken. Looking for either a couple of fertile eggs immediately as I have a broodie or a 6+ week old pullet to replace her. I am still looking for same age cochin pullet.

I've not been on for a while with having 8 year old granddaughters for summer. Looks like everyone else real busy too.

We've been lucky here, mostly drizzly rain and only an inch so far. Did put my 4 outside girls in the greenhouse as they aren't smart enough to get out of the rain. At least they will stay dry, maybe add some fertilizer to greenhouse floor. Everyone stay safe and dry.

Thanks everyone for your incite, unfortunately I have no place to relocate my girl all my nest boxes are side by side.. Have all hens so wasn't prepared for a broody. I couldn't break her from being broody so bought her some fertile eggs. I did change out the hay and wipe off eggs and removed...
