Very sorry for your loss. If you're looking for a guard animal, there is nothing better than a donkey. They are very territorial and will not run away from a dog, mine used to plan out how to trap a dog wandering into the yard.

I have heard different things about Blue Seal feeds being sold at Tractor Supply. It may be under the name of Sentinel Feed. Has anyone seen chicken feed by that name down here?
