:lau Lol not dumped like the predators. I posted on FB and someone said it was by their house a couple miles away a day ago. Later the owner replied but he's working.....but it wasn't around at dawn ....I don't think I could've caught him anyway.- Molpet

Bad chickens, good dog ❤️ I seen a weasel running through the poultry yard yesterday. I thought one might be around because I have not seen any chipmunks 🐿️. They are hard to catch.- Molpet

She went into a crate I use as a nestbox last night on her own last night. So I have kept her in there. She has drank but not eaten anything as of an hour ago. She looks alert and is content to stay in there. The girls that normally use that crate are complaining.- Molpet

The turkey is a good mama. She in the past has taken any poults or chicks close to size of hers. any other would have added to the injury. chicken went out, ate , drank and back to good mama. She was walking around ok. Now if the boys leave her alone. She had been up against the turkeys head and...- Molpet

Nasty fox visited this morning. I think they watch until I get out of the poultry yard. I just came in the house 7am, took off my raincoat looked out the window and seen a poof of white feathers. Ran out and chased it off in 3 different sections of my poultry yard after different chickens each...- Molpet

Where are you at? I'm New Lenox. Less than 2 miles from I 355 I harvest mine by removing the head . But yes it's traumatic if they are your pets. I have to do it at sunrise before I let mine out. It's traumatic from them too. But they are fine after the death throws are done. If you can't find...- Molpet
