The mulberry tree! Oh my mulberry tree! How I love the shade and protection it provides, but I have purple poo everywhere!! My shavings are PURPLE!! The walls are PURPLE! The water buckets are...….PURPLE!!!
I can't wait for the mulberries to be done.
As also is in my family, usually gone that night. Her bread is amazing!😍
At least yours use a box. It's like an easter egg hunt at my house. In the box, outside the box, under the coop, in the baby section under the coop, in the pasture....wherever!
It looks like my partial slo and slo chicks are both roos. Possibly the black one raised by the two serama mommas. That ones comb is weird, like a serama took a chunk out of the middle. Well over 6 weeks, and no wattle growth.
@Molpet turkey eggs made it safe and sound. All are unloaded and ready for the incubator at @Faraday40 . It was good to meet you and Annie if only briefly. And now that I know where you are I won't mess up next time! LOL!
You left the part of the knife wielding dog out when you told me. Can you just imagine a stranger coming in the door with a dog running around with a knife in its mouth?!?
So sorry to hear this. Predators stink. If you would like, I have a couple of older hens that are still laying you could have. My coop is quite crowded. I think they are 3 and a half years old. They are from @Faraday40 line. A chocolate named "mama" a lavender named "honey".
@Molpet
Still can't make up my mind. Male or female. Thanksgiving is getting closer. I once thought I saw it trying to pose, but it was just the tail and back feathers kinda flayed out, not a full standing up kind of thing. Still not huge like my male last year either, but not tiny either.
