    I tried that method, got 2 beautiful Splash babies from a local breeder that shows. I now have 2 beautiful Splash Roos that don't do me one bit of good! I'm done with Silkies unless I can get a proven hen! LOL! YAY!! Hatching Wishes Coming Your Way!! I get it frequently... What type of hen...

    Can't answer the why, but it's happened to both my adult roos at one time or another. Around here there's lots of crowing competition so, probably had something to do with it. Never fear, the voice always comes back, unfortunately.

    I let mine sit for 3 days,and then treat them like every other egg. At lockdown slightly higher humidity than my LF. I can't help with turner advice, I hand turn all of mine. But your plan sounds like it would work.

    Is that a pea comb? Okay, somebody jumped the fence for sure. She's CPL's? Have you asked any questions??? Does CPL have Araucana? Could she be a blue egg laying Serama/Araucana pullet? So MANY questions....
