You will need to find a good trainer. Dogs need to be taught how to do the equipment or they can be seriously injured. It takes about 2 years of training before you will be ready to compete.

I also love Cayugas, I special ordered mine when I couldn't find them locally. I'm tempted to get a few more from somewhere else so I can add new blood and prevent inbreeding. But I don't need a lot, just 3 more hens so I'm waiting until I'm ready to order some other birds as well.

My Cayuga ducklings!

I have my first hatch! I set some Cayuga duck eggs and have 2 beautiful babies out and 4 more eggs with pips/or clicking sounds! Here is baby 1, who hatched last night! Baby 2 is still wet and in the bator drying off! He/she hatched an hour or so ago!

Cool! I'm actually just outside the city limits myself! I have mixed chickens, and I currently have some Cayuga duck eggs and Chinese geese eggs in the bator. :fl for a good first try at hatching!
