    Yes, this is my coop my husband build a year ago! I just love it! We are off Hwy 31, about 13 miles from La Pine. We have been here approx 2 years and love living here! It's fun meeting people in the area here on this site! Small world......:)

    I have a total of 9 young Pullets. Several are molting at this time. I would consider it a mild molt as they don't look as severe as some I have seen here on this website. We have been getting approximately 2 eggs a day for the last couple of weeks or so. I think we are doing pretty good here.....

    For now we have shavings in the coop itself, but just dirt in the run. Liners cover only two sides of the coop and and we have a tarp that covers little over half the roof area. Our run is 8'x12'. Sure hope by adding sand it will help with drainage......

    Getting sand for our run today! Even thou we lined our run with plastic liners our run has been very wet. I am hoping this will take care of our problem and help with the drainage....

    Fought the elements and got the shower liners up. Really cold and windy so ended up attaching two together to make it strong enough so didn't have enough to do the entire run but it stopped the wind coming directly into coop. It's better than what they had so at least we are moving in the right...

    Burr it's cold out tonight! We came over Willamette Pass late this afternoon and the snow was sure coming down. So glad while we were in the valley today I ran to Target and purchased 4 clear shower liners for $2.24 each. We are using them to cover our run tomorrow.....sure hope it keeps the...

    I am going to change the topic here and praise my nine pullets! They have been laying about a month now and I am getting between 7-8 eggs a day. Once so far we got 9! Happy dance here! Happy Labor Day everyone!
