Cloverleaf.... the d' Uccle roo is all black, has face muffs and leg feathers. Pretty nondescript bird, but very friendly and outgoing.

CritterNPets... you will have a hard time finding and spend a LOT of money for a true Araucana. Ameraucanas the same. But Easter Eggers are so similar, lay blue or green eggs and are my ABSOLUTE. FAVORITES!

Aw! Poor thing. Is there no way to fix a cross beak? Can you file them down at all? I have never had to deal with a cross beak before. What causes it?

Well, Butternut certainly turned into a pretty color! Hazel wasnt one of mine, right? Im suprised you got that color from Butternut, considering her mother was either a silver duckwing OEGB or a gray Dutch bantam!

Has anyone picked up the latest issue of Chickens Magazine? I have an issue with the breed profile on Blue egg layers. They distinguish the difference between Easter Eggers, Ameraucanas, and Auracanas, but in the blocks where they profile the breeds, they have pictures of 2 chickens that are...

Silkies, albeit not the sharpest tools in the shed, are such amazing mothers, i am constantly amazed. My Silkie Mama, aka "The Machine", as she will hatch anything, anytime.... is so wonderful. I wanted a Salmon Faverolle, and The Machine just hatched out another batch, tho only 3 out of 9 eggs...

Here he is..... Starlight, the Rockstar Roo. 1/2 Silkie, 1/2 Mille Fleur D'Uccle. I really love these mixes! Super ecclectic-looking, with vulture hocks, feathered feet, blue skin, 5 toes and a mohawk of tophat feathers. Hes a pretty calm boy, so far.... with a very low pitched, quiet crow! I...
