Well, surprise surprise. Scooter laid her first egg today. I guess she is not a gander after all. The egg had a soft shell. We have been feeding flock feed. Should I start to feed egg lay like the chickens have or is some other recommended. Any info or ideas greatly appreciated.
I am trying to find out if there is an easy way to sex a goose. My one hatched out late May and after having leg problems, which thanks to one of the bloggers I was able to correct with a bandaid splint, grew up to be a wonderful goose. Now I am hoping to find out which sex it is and try to...

One has hatched and is out of shell. Awful dry and sticky. Seems to be having a problem with balance. Laying on his back and kicking then resting. Any suggestions?
