It's been awhile since I've been on--just extra busy. Things have changed and it was a bit confusing here. Hope all are doing well.

Try to squirt it under or around her tongue and it should not be a problem. It won't do much more than dribble anyway. A hard squirt might make it go down the wrong way, but I've not had that problem. Good luck, and bless you for trying!

Nanakat, for some unknown reason, my poppies aren't coming up like they normally do. the last two years I've had thousands of the red American Legion poppies that have reseeded themselves. So far this year I've only found three! I see NONE from the beautiful red carnation poppy from you. I...

Can't believe how fast everything is popping up, blooming and/or leafing out! Now the tree frogs are croaking. I'm sure I've never heard them nearly this early! We're still working very hard on correcting all our landscaping problems here. Have gone far beyond what the insurance company...

Limited 25, sorry I didn't get back with you about how to dose the gel cap, but Nanakat's suggestion was a good one. I just puncture the gel cap and squirt it directly into the beak of the afflicted one. I do that once a day until she seems well improved. how is she doing? There certain...

I had a silkie pullet like that only worse several years ago. Her head stayed under her breast most of the time, and she could only walk backwards. She was managing to eat and drink with great effort and resulting in her being soaking wet all the time. Assuming she'd been injured through her...

MJ, that's a good team, but often they don't do teamwork well--either both want the eggs or both want the chicks! When it works right, it is really sweet to watch!

Yes, an "inspector" came out and took pictures in November of 2015, and the company sent us a cancellation notice right at Christmas time THIS YEAR because we hadn't responded to their "previous request"--there had been no previous request (nor had our agent received any information) or the work...

Nana, I skipped Norman this year. Got sick after Shawnee because of the heavy dust in the sales room, and had a hard time overcoming it, even with antibiotics and Prednisone. Decided not to risk stirring it up again. Was a good thing, in a way, because we've been extremely busy. Our...

Haven't been on here since the Shawnee show. Have a respiratory infection, I'm sure from all the dust in the sales area. Kathryn, so sorry to read of your loss. We just aren't ever really ready to let them go.
