Welcome! Some of the breeds you mentioned you may be able to find locally through breeders, but other breeds you will need to purchase through a hatchery or through a breeder in a different state.

My friend came for the 2 Easter Egger pullets on Tuesday and @Crissygurl16 came for the 2 Rhode Island Red pullets today.

The 2 Rhode Island Red pullets are still available free to a good home. I can get some pictures of them tomorrow.

They are currently in a brooder. I don’t have the room for any more chickens in my current set up. If I did have room I would keep the 2 Easter Eggers as they are both unusual colors.

I have 2 Easter Egger & 2 Rhode Island Red pullet chicks that I got from TSC today. They were intended for my broody hen, but she wouldn’t accept them. They are free to a good home. Private message me if you are interested. Update: the 2 Easter Egger chicks have been spoken for.

Be careful buying birds at auction. Some people will pass off sick birds for healthy ones.

You could have them help design and build a chicken coop with attached run and then learn about taking care of the chickens.
