I have lots of EE's but only have straight run (unsexed) chicks currently. They aren't Ameraucanas but I do have some Wheaten Ameraucana hens, so some are at least half Ameraucana. I have some chicks that just hatched on Friday. You can also find chicks at Tractor Supply this time of year -...

I got two of the wheaten hens he had there...one laid a really pretty blue egg this morning! I told myself I wouldn't bring anything home...but how could I resist?

I should have lots of 2-3 day old olive eggers to bring to the show. I just set the eggs yesterday. I have 2 Marans roosters (one wheaten, one lavender) over EE and F1 OE hens. I may also have some SFH. I set about a dozen of their eggs too. I could also bring some SFH and OE eggs to sell.

There was someone on CL selling a blue am rooster that looked pretty nice (although I'm not an expert on the breed). http://cnj.craigslist.org/grd/4906129290.html

Where are you located? I have a pullet or two at that age that I could part with. I'm in Hope (07844).

I brought 13 to the show...I am really pleased with how they did. My Orloffs got Best of Breed and Reserve of Breed, one of my Javas was RB, and one of my Wheaten Marans was also RB (she was RB last year too). I am especially proud of the Marans since the BB was Reserve Champion Continental and...

It looks like everyone who had reserved chicks has backed out so I do have more available than I thought. All are straight run (except for the Rhodebars). I have 5 Marans - one is lavender and the others are black/lav splits. The group is $40. They're 2 weeks old now. 2 EE/Orloffs crosses - $5...

I have some hatching this weekend. Most are spoken for but I should have some Swedish Flower Hens. Straight run.

Thank you - I have been around for a couple of years but don't post a whole lot. I am right between Hope and Johnsonburg but the mailing address is Blairstown so it's confusing for those not familiar with the area :) The lavs and splits would have to go as a group, I also have a handsome...

I hope this is ok to post - I have some chicks to sell, and more hatching soon, if anyone's looking. I'm near Hope in Warren County. Currently - I have a handful of marans - one lavender and 4 black/lav split chicks. They are about a week and a half old. I hatched them out from shipped eggs - I...

Does anyone in the Sussex/Warren county areas have any 6-8 week old chicks or ducklings available? I had a predator attack last night and it left one duckling all by herself. She's very lonely :( I would like to find her a friend (or two or three) that's about the same age. Thanks!

I'd be interested in taking a frizzle OE or EE roo off your hands :)

Thanks! I am really happy with how the sexlinked EE's worked out and I may be able to do something similar next year.

I am in Hope and I should be hatching out some chicks in the spring. I have pure Orloffs and will probably set some EE/Ameraucana and Marans crosses. Unfortunately I am not able to sex them as day-olds like a hatchery would, so I can only offer straight run. But drop me a line in the spring if...

What breeds did you order? I have some EE's and OE's hatching on Monday if you can't get replacements within a reasonable timeframe.

I still have a few chicks left...you never got back to me.

I introduced my chicks to my adults when they were about 8 weeks old, I've been told that's a good time to do it. I put a wire cage in my big coop, and put the chicks in there for several days. Then I opened the door to the cage so the chicks could come out and mingle if they wanted. After a few...

I do have a bunch of chicks - unfortunately my chicks came home with mites from the poultry show, so I am treating them now...

Yep it's definitely an enabling device...now I have both the new incubator and my old one filling up!!! I need to play with the humidity a little - I set had it at about 25% through the first 18 days, but none of the silkies hatched and a handful of the marans (and several of one EE hen's eggs)...
