Hi from Perth too. Welcome Vehve....you found our lair! I don't mind a laugh with Hamish and Andy, I would rather watch that than some of the 'a current affairs' type shows. At least it's easy to pick whats real.

If you are not having troubles then I would not worry about it, more cost and it does not increase resale. Some people won't buy vaccinated birds, others won't buy them unless they are.

We had rescue birds, depending who we spoke to said varied what they had. One breeder says it was a vitamin defeciency, the vet said it was Marek's disease. Will culled our flock, went through an extensive cleaning process then only hatched eggs. The first four birds we hatched we did not...

We have vaccinated most of our current flock. We do have a few test birds in there, our oldest 4 are not vaccinated, and the last 5 are not either. The other 10 in our flock, and any we have sold were all vaccinated.
