That Virkon is good stuff. I use the little sachets of it, the tubs cost a bomb!
I scrub the brooder and incubators with just water and bleach though.
Sorry to hear about the young horse.
Wowsers.....1500 missed posts.
Where did the time go! Hi all the former regulars. I don't have time to catch all those posts but I hope everyone is doing well.
We in Perth have coped with a late summer pretty well.
Wow, 2000 posts behind in this thread!
I am sure everyone will have a very busy day tomorrow, but a Merry Christmas to you all.
I hope you all have a great festive season, and if you are on the road, please drive safe.
I am way behind on posts in here.
All is well here in Perth, glad to see things are going well for you other Aussies too.
Hope the Yoko's find a nice home Lucas.
I loved the cage eggs ad. I shared it too.
Hi all, sorry I have been sort of lurking here, busy days recently so I have just popped in and out.
All is well, nice Ba ba's Satay!
Hope the hatch continues well for you Satay, and glad to hear the water levels are dropping Lisa.
Looked like you could add 'ski resort' to your resume for a while there.
Hi from Perth too.
Welcome Vehve....you found our lair!
I don't mind a laugh with Hamish and Andy, I would rather watch that than some of the 'a current affairs' type shows. At least it's easy to pick whats real.
If you are not having troubles then I would not worry about it, more cost and it does not increase resale.
Some people won't buy vaccinated birds, others won't buy them unless they are.
We had rescue birds, depending who we spoke to said varied what they had. One breeder says it was a vitamin defeciency, the vet said it was Marek's disease. Will culled our flock, went through an extensive cleaning process then only hatched eggs. The first four birds we hatched we did not...
We have vaccinated most of our current flock. We do have a few test birds in there, our oldest 4 are not vaccinated, and the last 5 are not either. The other 10 in our flock, and any we have sold were all vaccinated.
