    You are on the right track 4x4 is 16 . So 32 chicks the first 2 weeks, then after that it could hold 16 chicks and then that space goes down to 8 chicks after they are a month old. for 2 ft divide the 16 by 2. I think , I'm no math expert. Or I would be an accountant and rich.LOL
