Hey everyone! I haven't been on this thread in a while, but I'm happy to report that I pre-ordered 8 red rangers and 2 cornish X for meat, and 3 Easter Eggers, a barred rock, a pearl white leghorn and a brown leghorn for eggs. Chicks are coming in October. This will be a new experience for us...
They are all so pretty! I finally re-homed my Polish rooster, but the buff cochin still doesn't have a home. He will be dinner today; the neighbors complained to the town office. It's sad, but I guess roosters have it rough!
My cousins live there. Gooseberry is the name of it, right? You can try it. I use a natural feed that has the oyster shells, grit, and extra omegas in it. I may switch to organic, though.
I have a buff cochin roo for sale...any interest? He's just starting to get his little voice, and is beautiful. I can't have any roos, unfortunately. I live on the Eastern Shore, in Easton.
:)
Hey, Tammy! I live in Easton. I ended up with 2 roos so far. I have a buff cochin, and a golden polish roo. I need to find homes for them...one of them is loud! The buff makes no noise, but the polish is crowing his head off. We have 10 laying hens. Are you in, or outside of town?
Eastern Shore People (or Western Shore willing to drive for pickup):
I have an 8 week old Golden Polish Rooster for sale. He's $15. He started crowing this week, and has bright red waddles. He has a beautiful tail, and beautiful green flashing in his feathers. Is this something someone would...
Here I am! I'm Amber, and I live on the Eastern Shore. I'm a new backyard flock owner. There are 28 chicks, and they're 5 weeks old now. I love this site...it's nice to meet some other Marylanders on here. :)
