We went to check it out. Most roosters sold for $0.5-$4. They take a fee on the sales but I am not sure the # or % though. With 14 roosters I wouldn't expect to bring home more then $10 if that. I did got some great animal carriers for $5 each. Also, it looks like a disease nightmare to me...

I just chased out a fox. I woke up to chicken screams. There is only 1 torn up body I saw my shy girl run off but it looks like I only have two in the coop. 4 are completely missing.

Pip needs to find a new home because I can't keep roosters in our neighborhood. If you pick him up you can have him sit in your lap! He doesn't mind being cuddled and loved when by very small children. He would make a great 4H bird. He is a show quality bird hatched myself and handled regularly...

Thank you. We miss her. I think it was cocci. Now I am worried about the other chicks? should i medicate them all? with what? One of the silkies has a little bit warery poop. I read that i could mix powdered milk with their feed. i am sure that wouldn't hurt? I don't want to loose anymore...
