I'm wondering how long a turkey hen is good for laying/raising young? How long is a male turkey good for breeding?

Had to bring in my ff from the shed I've had it in all summer. The ff was pretty much frozen Sun morning. Brought it in to our mud room which also has our supplemental wood stove. So now the chickens n turkeys will be getting warm ff to help keep them warm.

My chickens that are not moulting have absolutely beautiful feathers! I sold a few a couple months ago to a friend & she couldn't believe how shiny/plump they were. My chickens/turkeys have been on FF since Oct of 2012.
