Thankfully mine still have a bit of sense and do get in out of the weather. I have covered runs but sometimes the sideways rain does get in, a wet polish hen sure does look pitiful
It was -2 here this morning so a bit nippy! How very UK to be talking about the weather
My hens are old at 9 so I do worry about them feeling the cold a tad more now :hmm
Not a rat but a rabbit!!! These cats are good catchers! She caught it and he ate it! I was gipping :sick
And on another good note the sheep have been sheared! They will deffo be grateful for it today and rest of week!
He’s a nice stocky bird @MalSabreur :D Is he friendly?
That is a shame on your eggs. No care taken at the post office at all! :(
Did they come in the carton? I really like the polystyrene boxes for egg sending. They totally encase the eggs.
Well the cats have settled in well! They are like Lord & Lady Muck! They even follow in the field when poo picking like dogs! Rat droppings are reduced already :woot
(Please excuse the mess it’s usually tidier! I had to order a new part for the strimmer!)
I keep little polish, my flock has dwindled to only 7 now. They are 9 years old. I’ve curbed my addiction as I got to 50 birds at one point when I was out of control and the incubator was always on
I pondered getting the incubator out again this year but I’ve changed jobs and don’t...
