I have several Bantam Cochins available, all hatched in July. I just posted an ad on CL, but you can see more here:

I would like to rehome them as soon as possible. Thanx for looking.
(I am located in the West Metro Denver area.)
Congratulations Shy! That is absolutely fantastic! You must be on cloud nine. You're going to be a Master Breeder/Exhibitor in no time at all. The question is will it be with your Silkies or Cochins first?? Did you get your CI calendar yet - you will, in particular, like November!
Hello! I have a blue cochin hen, I call her, very originally, Blue :) She has a very sweet and silly personality, and of all the hens I have, she is the most fun to watch run :) I call her Li'l Lotta at times. I just adore her. She is just a Big R/hatchery girl, obtained from a local couple...
I'm still lurking and following along. Guess I'm just spending more time over on the Cochin thread. Anybody want some???

It's been a month or two since I've been to Wardle Feed (in Wheat Ridge). This is the first year they are selling chicks. They also have some coops for sale. The coops and chicks are all from Eric Fulenwider - so definitely not hatchery stock.
It's nice to see them selling chicks now, and...
Front Range
Urban Corridor
Eastern Plains
Western Slope
North Park
Middle Park
South Park
Just a few of our endearing terms - there are lots more. I grew up in Middle Park on the Western Slope, but for the past 30 years I've lived in the Urban Corridor on the Front Range.
Almost hit a wild turkey on the way in to work this morning - wandering in the middle of the road near 48th and Harlan. I've never seen them venture into the city before!
LOL - You're not the only one that went scrambling to Google! But I searched "blackhead in poulty" and found it. It seems to be more prevelant in Turkeys. I've never heard of it, and the state vet that comes to do my NPIP testing has never mentioned it. But that certainly doesn't mean it...
Sorry, I didn't hatch thru the winter as no one was laying, so I won't have anything available until later this summer. I would definitely get in touch with Shy and see what she has available - she usually has some great stock available in either breed.
Congratulations on your wins, Shy!
Parking is such a pain at the SS - I wish they'd just leave the facilities where they are, and focus on a couple of high-rise parking structures!

Thanx Cara! Tucker's Dad is a red Standard Poodle with the parti-color gene, so that's where his parti-coloring comes from! It was one of the things that attracted me to him.
