Oh my. I certainly jacked my back. Pain level is very high should go to urgent care or ER. The darn state cancelled my Medicaid so now I have to scramble to get it reinstated I was supposed go to the pain clinic next week. I hate these setbacks especially when things had been going so well

The roo on the right has feathers on his feet. Left one doesn't. Orp in the middle is a large bird, a whole lot bigger than any of the hens. The solo rooster is the one I think will be the big boss. All of the roosters have striking colours. They look fantastic in the sunlight.

Well I done it again...left the hose run all afternoon. Maybe all of those long, deep dives have taken a toll. :idunno:old At least the ducks enjoyed my absent-mindedness. Watching my flock's dynamics evolve is constantly entertaining. The BO roo was first first to crow and he is the largest...

Oh it is definitely dangerous. Any wreck dive is inherently dangerous. One needs lots of training and should be certified to do so. Technical diving is a whole other level than a tropical reef dive. I miss it so much.

It is not a dive site. She lies in 535 feet in Canadian waters. When they were mounting the expedition to recover the bell some of my dive shop pals were in consideration to be safety divers. We didn't make the cut. It would have been an honour.

I watched the news when the Fitz went missing. Later, when I heard about the underwater preserves in Michigan I decided that I needed to explore shipwrecks on the Great Lakes. So early in the 80's I learned to SCUBA dive. That led to many, many wreck dives over the years. Seeing some of those...

It was a decent white oak. Some insect damage near the base. So firewood in a year or two. The tree leaned over an adjacent lot and both neighbors shared in taking it down before anything bad might happen.

I just made another great score today. People on the lake side had a couple of trees cut down on Monday but the crew couldn't finish the job and came back today to clean up. Neighbors said I could have the wood. I got there just as the crew was about to leave. The foreman agreed to drop the...

Remembering the Edmund Fitzgerald on this date 48 years ago. I didn't know it at the time but that tragic event had a big impact on my life. Rest in Peace.

As a 2-time Zipper Club member I concur. I had a chemical stress test last month and they just called with the results. I passed. Not sure why it took a month to read the results. Not much going on around here. I've been lazy lately. I need to cut and split some more wood. I've had...

I managed to get motivated enough to work in the garage and do some outdoor chores. Bella was there to supervise .

I had an appointment on Halloween at the pain clinic. It's south of here about 30 miles. On the way home is snowed like crazy. Snow was sticking to the road and the trees. It was pretty but too #$%^& early. At home, up here by the lake there was nothing. I have a feeling that it is going...

No. I. Don't. What I need is motivation. Motivation to get out in the cold to cut and split more wood. I've had a fire every night this week and the wood pile is getting low. What I need is organizational skills. I have to finish getting the garage in shape so both cars and tractor can...

OK. Which one of you witches cursed me with the" RaZ's Rooster Ranch" spell?! lmao Yep. One more pullet has magically turned into a rooster. Not only that, one more duck has the drake feather. Current count is 2 drakes and 4 roosters. Thankfully I have enough room and companion hens...

I know. The BO was an obvious male from the get-go. These 2 were iffy right up until this week. Drag queen chickens? :gig

Oh I know they are both roosters, it was a rhetorical question. It was a statement about buying "pullets" from places like TSC. Caveat emptor. Later in the day I saw one of them trying to mount a hen. So maybe I'm getting close to POL. Did anyone see the meteor shower last night? It was...

It has been quite a while since I've taken photos of my flock. These 2 were out and I had my phone. So here they are...pullets from TSC. What do you think? I think they are EE. I bought EE & Marans at the same time. I think Marans have feathered feet. Or do I have that backwards?

@Dreamzchaser Show that poor bird a mercy. Put her down. I know it will be difficult and painful to your gentle soul.
