    Cut them up. Or mealworms like Subhanalah says. And just toss the food closer and closer until they get the idea you aren't a big evil being. I had to do it with Luke and his gang after I moved them out because they got very upset at me after that.

    They go slow and bribe. Peas are a favorite around here along with green beans. I've also heard that watermelon and lettuce are good. My babies also love bugs

    Let the kids hold them. Well if they are older then 4. I have to catch mine but then they are fine. Very true. Now add a goose and it's bad.

    Mine are Ancona and have been handled since they hatched. I even had the last hatch in my hand. Yes the one closest to the camera is the oldest and is wearing a diaper.

    Aww how cute. It amazes me how fast ducks grow. I currently have 3 sleeping in my lap of different ages, but only days between them but the size difference is crazy.

    I say go for it. The one I had that didn't go all the way down hatched on it's own and is the 2nd smallest but the most active. I found it stuck in the water bottle this morning. Just chilling. A quick bath and it was back to causing trouble.

    OMG! Guess what! I have 10 external pips. 6 more internal and the rest are squirming. The first to externally pip was the one I dented! The one with the yellow is close to internal pip. And the one I dropped is trying. It's she cell is almost fully detached. Im worried I may have to help.

    @Sally Sunshine that egg of mine that didn't attach to the bottom is still alive. What are the odds it will hatch?

    The duck with the umbilical issues died this morning. But the other is super happy and healthy. But very clingy. I also have rocking in my bator.

    One is all the way out and mostly dry. The other is still absorbing. I just got up and found the second is out of it's egg but laying twitching still connected to the egg by I'm not meaning with it. Unless you say I should.
