Well I am exhausted I didnt sleep a wink, I kept her next to me in bed in a small dish pan w a heating pad...placed a piece of a feather boa over her so she would feel secure. She slept better then I did! This morning I noticed however she is not walking like all my other chicks would be on...

Is she still absorbing? No incubator...this was under a broody hen...I have her on a heating pad sorta up right and rubbing her to keep her warm....mama was dealing w her other chicks and not paying attention to this one

LOL 12 lbs is pretty big! I have been putting a lot of thought into getting a bigger breed. I won eggs on this website Olive eggers to hatch and I just don't know if its a good idea mine being small and all.
Yikes! You must have big ones...or do they get more agressive the more there are? I have Bantams and my first Roo is a sweety.. I hope mine don't get like that
