    Checked all eggs on day 18 b4 lock down and all was well. Saw good movement and eggs bad grown a lot. Thanks for the the help!

    Candled my eggs yesterday and I'm on day 15... Eggs seem to be "sloshy" if that makes sense. Had a problem with the stupid styro bator. My temp was at 105 for about 15-20 mins!! Eek!! :( I still see vaining but I'm afraid they may be dead. Should I let them continue and then check on day 18 b4...

    Checked the rest of my eggs and 5 were no good and two dead. My last two chicks that hatched have bad leg problems. Read how to help them but I don't think it's going to work :( so upset because I really hate to have to cull them. Oh the ups and down of hatching babies.

    So I've got 5 babies and one still zipping! No action from any of the other eggs so I will let the one finish up and then get rid of all the others! I have a bunch of "mutts" but I'm so excited! Can't wait to set my second batch!!

    Would like to say I've had two hatch and 3 more piped and zipping!! So excited!! Glad to know it was just low temps causing them to be a little late!! My kids are so excited! They couldn't wait to see the chicks when they got home from school!!

    My youngest loves these babies so much! Everyday when he comes home from school he scoops them up and loves them for a little while! :) :)
