I don't mind the sparrows and even the occasional grackle ... but the doves are a menace!

I haven't read all of the posts in this very large thread so apologize if this was answered, but has anyone with dove problems used this? I was thinking that if it was placed at the right height, with a long enough "throat", that the doves couldn't get feed out of it ... any thoughts?
