More then likely yes, right now I'm pretty busy prepping for goats and helping train a friend's rowdy lab but I will be getting some EE chicks soon and I'm bound to buy some pullets throughout the summer
We've got a foot and a half of snow where I am. I'm not sure if chickens get mad but my silkie roo is currently standing in the middle of the yard, snow up to his chest, and growling like an angry cat Darn if my camera wasn't broken right now this would be great "weird video to show to family"...
On the bright side I'm a homeschooler and my desk is by a window overlooking the goat pen so they will have me watching over them for a good chunk of the day
We're currently working on turning my coop into Alcatraz. Bad news, we now have a mountain lion problem! My neighbor saw it the other day and I heard it last night. Whoop dee doo.
Oh and chickens died from stray dogs, coyotes, fox, and raccoons. My neighbor's brand new flock of 10 pullets was killed too. End of story we got our redneck friends together and that was the predators last chicken dinner...

This may be kind of a dumb post but I've been trying to post something for months but I had something wrong with my account and it never showed up. CAN YOU GUYS SEE THIS?!
Speaking of my newfy boys one of them is sitting on my lap as I write this. It was one thing when he was a 12 pound 8 week old but it's gonna be pretty different when he weighs a 120+ full grown!
My two boys that take after the Newf/Pyrenees love the chickens and already are protecting them. My girl that takes after the Shepherd is like your Zeke, she all the sudden becomes deaf when there's chickens around.
I'm just fine, right after the dog bit me he was whining, leaning on me, and nudging me. Wolfhounds have a high prey drive and between the smell of my one pup and the chickens I think he just got so excited that he had to clamp down on something and that something just happened to be my arm I'm...
Beautiful quilt Coffee! I bet it will be great for combating the winter blues by adding a big splash of color Your pups are adorable! I know the two in front are Poms but is the back one a longhair Chi? I like little dogs and would one if it weren't for the fact that I have visions of a...
Hi Everybody!
MinnesotaNice, the chicks are doing great, went out to check on them this morning and they were all running to the door to be pet. How are the hens? After I traded with you I went to the feed store to get some grower feed and got bit by an Irish Wolfhound. He didn't puncture...
