Southwest. We're kinda in between Springfield and Joplin
Power was out till almost 5 this morning.
Went to go grill me a hot dog last night, and found out one of our outdoor chairs blew into the side of my new car. 😭 couple dents and a nice scratch
Crazy storm blew through here. Knocked things over. 3 inches of rain in less than an hour, no power still. But it was worse in other local areas so we were pretty lucky here.
The Radar looks as if it's not going to be bad here. But the hound didn't want to get out of his kennel this morning so the Dogar says something might happen.
You all done a good job wishing me luck. Sold everything I took.
I didn't take my yard sell stuff I figured it would rain. But I sold the baby ducks and some extra feeders and waterers I didn't use.
Anyway.. a fella gave me these flyers and I thought I'd share the info here.
Yes! @R2elk sent me seeds last year as a housewarming gift,
Along with some other seeds. Some didn't come up (or i pulled them thinking they were weeds)
But those hollyhocks have done so good. And blue flax.
I actually don't have any irises now that i've moved. It was summer when we moved. I didn't dig any up to take it was so hot and dry. I'm gonna get some starts from my mom this fall, she has a bunch.
The man brought me those from a road ditch somewheres.
If I ever have another puppy I am going to make sure and start desensitizing them to thunder noises and fireworks from the get go. Medication and thunder shirts are so stupid 🤣
I never really had a dog before that was this scared of noises. So I didn't think of that till it was too late. Now I...
Kinda look like Rouen ducks. Maybe just a barnyard mix.
We love our duck eggs.
And yeah. Duck egg shells are a lot harder.
When I have to crack a chicken egg at work I always explode the first one everywhere not thinking 🤣
