You can clip as soon as the feathers are finished growing. The middle part will be clear, not blue anymore. Do you know where to clip the wings? Also, you probably need two people to clip. One to hold, the other to clip. Just easier that way

Yeah, the yellow one could be a runner. The other is definitely magpie or Ancona ( I can't remember the difference off the top of my head. I was up late last night)

Yellow one looks like an appleyard and the black one looks like a mallard They can get annoyed with each other if they don't have enough brooder space. How big is your brooder? And the drinking habit is normal. It's messier, but it's just something that comes with the territory ;)
