    I put warm water every day in this rubber feeder on the coldest days and my ducks were thrilled. It was like a hot tub. I also used a heated dog bowl in their coopthat worked wonderful.

    I add corn meal to unmediated chick starter for my ducklings and they have been fine. My 3 ducks live with my 20 chickens they get along fine.     Funny you should mention that. The khakis had blue bands very easy to see. The runners was white and I spotted it when I was drying her off with the towel. It was falling off. So glad.
