hello everyone, got a quick question. okay can ducks have leafs (like fallen leafs) we give them to the chickens to play in but am wondering if the ducks are allowed to have them as well? thank you itsasmallfarm out.

okay got a quick duck question, now that my ducks are starting to lay, do i feed them oyster shells like chickens or is just a layer ration good enough for them?

update on my ducks, they are starting to come around to like me. now when ever i go over to see them (and the chickens) they quack non-stop till they get there treats and wait at the fence for them. at the moment only lettuce and cucumbers are the ones they like every thing else sucks to them lol.

oh also as we where quite hot here yesterday (like 31C) i sprayed and had a water fight with my ducks (just took the hose and sprayed them off) and they love it, they try to eat the water stream, love to play in the mud and just flap there wings when the water is on them.

turns out my ducks favorite treat is cucumber they just eat it up as fast as they can. so i have to ask is it good for them?

That is awesome and its the same thing with mine she does most of the talking of my ducks.

Finally got BYC on my phone so i can upload pictures so here are my two ducks quackers and nibbles the bottom picture is of them when they where ducklings.

due to space i was only able to get one runner, but should i look at getting another runner duck for her to live with?

well just a quick update on my ducks. they finally are coming around and letting me pet them (a month ago they ran from me) now they just stand still and let me pet them and then they run off and quack and want treats.

hello every one a quick question right now i have a a coop maybe 45 sq feet, with two blue Swedish ducks in it. i planned on getting 3 more ducks and 3 geese i know think that it is to small. should also note they have maybe a 150-200 sq ft run. but what would the maximum amount of ducks/geese...
