It has been a wile since a word about Fuzzy Bum and her way of life so is the young lady making a nest
I hope all is well and she is staying worm in the cold weather
I do believe I have been watching Fuzzy Bum for well over a year now and just to watch her grow and over come her disability is really nice to see and now Bowzer being added to the mix I am sure will give both of them some much needed happiness and now I cant wait to see the little chicks...
I think we can all agree this is what a beak should look like
Well back in September of 2013 my RIR was chased into a
fence and got her beak broken and now she eats with her
tong just like a lizard and goes about life like any other chicken
gander007
Just one drop at a time as her beak is very tender right now and it will take some tome that is the reason I mentioned soft food like a boiled egg and boiled vegetables and yogurt
I had something similar happen to one of my RIR hens and it took a wile for her to learn how to eat again but it is possible.....
I gave my hen Turkey Grow, chick feed and laying mash and rice that is about all she will ever be able to eat ......
But for right now give her some hard boiled...
