The NC Spring show season has arrived. Cape fear is tomorrow. Salisbury is March 2nd, Morganton is March 16th, and Winston-Salem is March 23rd. Info can be found at https://www.poultryshowcentral.com/ except the winston-S show the info on there is wrong.

NC spring shows include: Salisbury: March 3 - all breed Morganton: March 17 - Bantams(Fall show is all breed) Winston-Salem: March 31 - Bantams, LF

That is looks like an older QGF model. If is has built in turning system then it is along the lines of a 1200 series. If not then it is a hatcher model. Some have 2 turning trays and the 3rd bottom tray is for hatching. The hatcher(no turner) can be used to incubate, but you will have to...

The Winston-Salem show has also been announced by the Forsyth Fowl Fanciers. It is the last Saturday of March(Mar 26) like every year at the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds. Haven't heard anything about Salisbury or Greensboro.

I use a King Suro 20, which has a similar setup. I use rolled up paper napkins in 'extra' space. I do not put anything between the eggs. I don't think it would hurt anything to do that.
