OMG! Its so cute. There's one like that on pinterest. Any body have any idea why a hen would try to kill a chick (not hers) it happened a few days ago :( Congrats on the eggs, DougMT, mine didn't lay that many when they were that old. It was the dead of winter, so that probably affected it.

Those are the breeds I have I posted it earlier in this thread. I'm not sure if I can sell you chicks now, because my broody hen keeps switching nests. I can sell you eggs if you want to put them under your broody.

Yeah Karlamaria I was talking to you. Sorry I really should address my posts to who they are for. So do you want eggs or chicks? You wouldn't get any roosters if you got chicks. If you want any at all how many?

Well Fawkes has 7 eggs under her I think. The rooster mated with all of my hens. Most of the eggs I slipped under her are americauna. I think she has a few lakenvelder eggs under her, and a few star eggs, but they won't be good layers. And maybe 1 black giant egg. I'll check.

It's freezing here. Out in front of my coop. Some snow melted and then it froze. We moved a few cows yesterday. We had a calf five days ago and it weighed 120 pounds when we pulled it.

My campine is a hen. But I already have a rooster. I do have a friend who would probably love to have a cockerel. I had 2 cocks at one time. A cuckoo maran and my buttercup. How big is he, the only problem was my maran was huge.

Yeah I have a sicilian buttercup rooster. But my lakenvelders are grey and white. I'm selling chicks because my hen is sitting on a few eggs. They are mutts though.
