This isn't about feeding wild birds but it is pretty wild....I have never known this before now!

I've got about 50 pairs of Cardinals coming in to the feed station. Various titmouses, black capped chickadees, finches and a few Pyrrhuloxia, painted buntings.
The Cardnials are ramping up to breeding season, singing their mating call songs.
That's because they all migrated down here!!! 🤣 I have around 50 different male Cardinals, a few Chickadees, Waxwings, and Flickers coming into the feeding station.
The male Cardinals have started their "spring song", mating call! DeeDee DeeDee......dee..dee..dee..dee..dee..dee :)
A little early but I guess they know when spring is approaching, even in the middle of winter! :idunno
I'm also having to chase the Inca doves out of my pens. They find their way in but can't remember where they came in, so they can get out! (2" wire mesh shipping crate panels). They usually move farther South this time of year but we have had a really mild winter, so far.
Being in South Texas we have both Cardinals and Pyrrhuloxias. The Pyrrhuloxias have been on the decline around here for several years now. I see more Cardinals now than Pyrrhuloxias I don't feed them per se, they forage under my elevated pens.
Chickadees and Juncos have also been on the decline...
