I only feed carrot tops with green and broccoli stams other kitchen scraps go to the dogs or the compost. But they get allot of garden stuff, cherry's gooseberry's clippings weeds. I am not ranging them in the garden they are not trusted at the moment. Got halfway today with improving the fence.

@BDutch you were right! Toos isn't broody anymore. I prevented her from nesting in the night. The next day she was a grumping clucking chicken but outside. Harrasing nugget every time she wanted to go in to the coop to lay her first egg. Today all is normal again. And I got 2 eggs today, only...

Toos is broody after just laying 16 eggs. I have to setup my broody jail for the first time. Are there tips and tricks?

They all started squatting for me, I think it is so funny. First chickens for me to do so. @BDutch your inimini looks more like my Nugget and Jacky(those are almost similair) , Toos is more black ond body, wings and tail. Here you can see the differance, Toos on the left and Jacky on the right.
