I am still about twelve pages back, but... I'm sorry, I have to confess. This is my giraffe. This is Gerald. He has fallen in love with a unicorn. Her name is Bitsy. Sadly, she does not return his affection. But he keeps looking for her. He heard she was on a flight to Madagascar. He can't fly...
I'm with you guys. Overly warm chicks, IMO, get pasty butt, cool ones do not. Is it bc cool chicks move around more, stimulating their guts? Idk. Our cooler chicks have been healthier, stronger, more robust, had less pasty butt and we had fewer or no losses.
I promised to post a pic. I am not a great photographer by any means! The best chicken portrait I have is of my late great Toby, a Dominique. Behold!
Then there is Rojo, my current rooster. He is always surrounded by his entourage of about 7 or 8 hens; he is a great favorite with the ladies...
Yes, pretty much. Our ground is soft and smooshy from recent rains and the punkins I got were small and tough, so it took some doing. Kinda amusing to watch The Man working at it, but he got the job done!
Oh Alex. I just felt impressed to come here tonight. I'm sorry I missed you. I'm sorry you lost your BLU. :hugsI'm glad you have your faith to comfort you. God bless, my friend. ❤
