    Whatcha Making for Supper?

I'm in a wheelchair, supposed to be non-weight bearing on one leg, so a two-day recipe sounds perfect. Lots of waiting and letting the dough do its thing. I'll try yours first. Thanks again.

    Whatcha Making for Supper?

Ooh, that pesto one stimulated a salivary response here! If you find a good dough recipe, please post it! I need one that does not stick to the counter, and that slides off the pizza peel into the oven.

    Whatcha Making for Supper?

Before I was 14 (at which age we moved out of this neighborhood), there was a pizzaria like this where I grew up. I used to pass it on my way to the library. I remember stopping to stare through the big plate glass window in front and watch the guy toss and spin the big flat discs of dough that...

    Whatcha Making for Supper?

No corned beef or Reubens for us this year, my GC has that allergy to mammal products from a tick bite. A little bit sad about it, but we've had time to get used to it. 🤷‍♀️

    Whatcha Making for Supper?

Well, I did, kinda. Instead of mashing it with a fork, I hit it with ny immersion blender and got juuuust a bit carried away. It was delicious, though! So tonight I sauteed some chopped celery and onions, and boiled some diced potatoes and added all that to my totally liquefied soup from last...

I know leeks can be sandy, gritty. So chop them like you would celery, separate the layers, put them in a colander or sieve, and rinse the shenanigans out of them!
