About now one gets the urge to garden...a ridiculous thought because it is down right WHITE season...but none the less...
If I started seeds now, be too far along to plant for beginning of June so taken to starting bulbs.

Gone to BC and brought back four ewe lambs and one ram lamb from the O'Keefe Historic Ranch in Vernon; end of September.
It was our practise run to the States...gone under twenty four hours, so still just a day trip away but what a day, eh! The handforged horseshoe in the bottom...
Enjoying winter again, the seasons sweep in.

May be cold but the sun makes it cheery.
Put up the brass sconces...put an oak plaque behind the two. Looks nice.
Took time out to add more crystals to the chandelier...still got a few more to add...
Less than a week to go and Emmy will have her pup. Because the ultrasound showed only one pup, she's not going to be getting all that big.

Green season is upon us...thankfully, finally with some heat.
Regular rains is keeping things growing.
Even flowering nice in the bush.
Bugs are bad, so if the Girls are out, take precautions to keep them a bit bug free.

And I got a nice surprise...the vintage advertisements for our trucks got framed (just one more frame to get when they restock) and hung up on the stairway.
Second hand rail got made and painted...just waiting on a drill bit and permanent install can happen...

The Girl's dog room is now completed.
Commercial grade lino on the walls, new horse stall mats for the floor.
Dog kennels were built downstairs in the shop.
And voila, add dogs!

Twined up two rugs thus far...the second gets to stop at 10 inches as I've run outta scrap carpet yarns.
Been waiting forty months for my circular sock machine to be made...and it is now on its way to me. Should be here by middle of January. Once you get the hang of this machine, should...
Dressing myself in my handicrafts; from head to foot with a scarf in between.
Finally getting some snow...Girls are loving it.
Happy to see the ground and plants covered; next the colder weather should be showing up. Has to warm up to snow here.

Harvested the last of the spuds...jest in time for the white to finally show up.
Too wet now to have Rick till the dirt, but should be able to in a few days or so pending no more moisture shows up. Be nice if the ground can be tilled and put to winter rest nice and tidy.
Getting ready to have a custom made canvas mattress cover made for the wool mattress (Jacob of course, our wool--of course!). Take about a month or so to get organized, have it ordered, made. Should be quite exciting!
Thinking for the king sized mattress, be about 50 to 60 pounds of wool. I...
