No they are green grasshoppers. Are you going to say that the yellow ones are not good either? Yikes I will have to give the chickens a lesson in entomology. We have so many bugs here they may need to go to UF to get a degree to stay safe.
I have never seen a grasshopper like that. Good to know it is a no go for birds. We have gigantic grasshoppers in Florida. Larger than the Palmetto bugs. My cat found one on the window today and went nuts. LOL! I believe our chickens will love them. I am concern about the anole population...
@Patioconturnix. I was looking at the butterflies photos and thinking how beautiful and then the black bug with yellow strip kind of threw me. LOL. What is that?
