Living life on the edge (of the incubator) hatch-a-long

I call her Snow. Idk if that's an apt name for a big white turkey. She is the boss too btw. She will tap the chickens to get food first lmao. I told her size isn't everything and she needs to chill. Lmao. Btw. My silkie is....umm....brownish? Ugh I need a pic. Brb. *begrudgingly goes outside in...

Living life on the edge (of the incubator) hatch-a-long

You know it. Oh! Did I mention my neighbor's turkey hopped into our yard (idk how the fudge it did that when Snape can't even figure it out) and has been living it up for 2 days? Like full blown year old female turkey. She is as sweet as can be. She allows all my kids pet her.

Living life on the edge (of the incubator) hatch-a-long

I am hoping one of my 4 cockerels turns into a good roo. They are only about 6 months old. Snape (my Australorp roo) is about a year old. If only they would learn from Hook.

Living life on the edge (of the incubator) hatch-a-long

The girls seem to like his size. If only he wouldn't peck my baby and 4 year old. He always snaps at Noah (2 yo) immediately. Granted he is a bundle of energy and always tries to hug everything. Chickens included lol. I am torn on throwing him and the boys in the "Bachelor Backyard" or letting...

Living life on the edge (of the incubator) hatch-a-long

Snape has been in the front for the past 2 days. So has Hook (off and on). Let's just say the hens run to Snape and Hook goes after the boys. It's quite the soap opera.

Living life on the edge (of the incubator) hatch-a-long

None of my hens submit. They get caught and basically say "Fine. Hurry up" Than they peck the hell out of the roo that mounted them. 😆 Cleopatra (RIR) escaped the yard, so got her back in, only problem was when I herded her to the yard, Snape got in. At least he is keeping the boys off the...

Living life on the edge (of the incubator) hatch-a-long

One roo tucked up under each arm, lecturing them about manners and how to treat a lady....😆

Living life on the edge (of the incubator) hatch-a-long

Yup. I will have to catch them at night and toss em in the backyard with Snape, Hook, and Hook's wife Callie. Callie is my neighbor's pullet. About the same size as my original 6 so about.....26 weeks ish in age? Either way. At first I thought she looked like a calico princess but come to find...

Living life on the edge (of the incubator) hatch-a-long

Banned two more roos to the Bachelor yard. They said **** you and flew back over. Brats. They gang up on the hens again though they will have to go. I fear they will probably do it again though. Lucky, Thales, and Pelican. One hops on, the other grabs her head, and the other tries to hop on too...
