That's so exciting you are a first-time chicken keeper too! They are a lot of work, but they are such sweet little creatures. ☺️
So far, I haven't actually seen any lice/mites. If we did have any, they seem to have gone away when we applied Permethrin several times. I'm so thankful for that...

We have finished three more structures in our aviary for the chickens! Everything is just about finished now. Thank you all for your help. The chickens love it and are super happy! 💗

My family worked to add more things into the aviary so it isn't as bare. We haven't finished yet, but I wanted to show you all that we took what you said and are working to apply it. ☺️

Thank you for your quick response and advice! I'll add more activities for the chickens to play with. I open up the tunnel from run to aviary in the mornings. They like to travel back and forth between the two. I appreciate experienced chicken keepers giving me their advice.
