I kept her crated today, but it was inside the coop so she was still with the flock. I gave her water and wet feed, and put her back up on the roost with the flock tonight. If she don’t need to be limited to just easy to digest foods, I’ll leave her out.

How much pressure does your bib put on the neck? Mine seems to put a lot of pressure on. It’s possible it’s too small, but I think going bigger won’t provide enough support.

I’ve never done this before but have considered it. Most of the info I’ve seen about crop surgery has been for impactions, usually removing solid or hard masses. Do you think it’s still safe to do it if her crop is liquidy? How would I go about removing excess skin?
