I caution you in buying a older bird. It may just be mine, but my Sultan roo so use to be very sweet and liked bring picked up has now taken to flogging us.

Well if you look at the polish up close the feathers are rounded. The lacing make it look rooish, but Its crest is uniform and the feathers are round. No pointy or hackle feathers either. It looks more like my Polish pullets than roo, but is the only bearded I have. I have posted pictures of it...

No eggs or crowing yet.... No crazy feathers either. I was really windy yesterday when I took those. It is just getting to looking better after all the rain we had this summer.

Yes my place looks like there has been a pillow fight going on. Egg production is way down too. I have been looking all over fo hidden nest and can't find any.

I have to get a calendar out and count up the weeks. I think I should be getting eggs from Lady Gaga and Madonna if not now very soon. I've been looking in the bushes and woods trying to find hidden nest. My layer flock egg count is way down too.

She was dirty as ever with mud all over her feet, leggs, belly and tail. I started letting them free range and the wet grass has cleaned them up a lot. Thank goodness ity a girl... She shall be named Pipa after Kelly Ripa who said if she didn't live in the city she would have chickens...

Oh law I knew y'all would ask for that. We have gotten so much rain my poor birds are a mess especially the white. I will get one this afternoon when I get home. Just don't hold their dirty feet against me.

I have one Sultan chick that was given to me as a day old at the feed store. I'm mot sure if its a pullet ir Cockeral. Is there any sign to look for? It's about 3 months old.
