Thanks, I know, they have a much bigger one now. They can't put their whole head in it but they can their whole bills past their nares and that is all that really matters. They are eating so much and growing so fast now.

So happy that you got that many hens!!! My little Donald is changing his voice now when I carry him away from who I think is Daisy. He sounds like he is trying to quack but it is raspy so it's probably his male voice coming in.

All of my ducks that ever had any green on their heads were drakes. Some people though have had females with a green sheen to their heads, out of all the ones I have had though I never did. I hope that you end up with some Hens out of your group.

Beautiful Babies!!!! The ones I got from Metzer Farms have larger bills than the ones you hatched out. They do that so that they are supposed to be able to hatch out easier since the short necks and bills make it difficult to hatch was what I understood from their description of theirs.

Did you Call ducks hatch? I was just wondering how that worked out for you as many have problems hatching them out.

It's so funny when ducks are not happy with each other. When my Mallard Male tries to mess with my older Rouen Hen, she takes him by the beak and shakes it back and forth to let him know it's a No Go, lol.

Do your little drake Call ducks try to mate your Khaki Campbell Hens? Mine only seem to like the Khaki and Mallard for some reason. They leave my Rouen, Muscovy, Mule hen and Runners alone.

Funny how they are all different. My Calls came into my flock at 3 months of age, fully feathered. I had my Mallards for a few years. The Call ducks boss the Mallards and some of my other Hens around and none of my ducks bother them. All flock ratios are different and I am just fortunate...

I got 4 little Call Drakes fully feathered and around 3 months old a couple of years ago. They were in a separate pen for 24 hours and then turned loose with the rest of my flock. At the time I had a Mallard Drake and a Huge Muscovy Drake. No one bothered the Call boys as they all 4 stuck...
