Four chicks hatched and healthy! Sleeping under momma hen! Here are a couple of pictures as momma hen was kind enough to let me hold her babies.

I have two beautiful new chicks this morning and a third is poking its ways out of the shell! I'm so glad I left them alone!! I have a proud little momma hen. She didn't even leave them to eat so I brought her a bowl of food and small dish of water.

Thanks for the suggestion, I left them alone and one of the chicks came out, I'm not sure if it was one of them with membrane exposed, hen is being super protective. Last look tonight and it was still moving in there, I'm guessing maybe the hen moved around too much and cracked more of the shell...

I am worried. I have a hen sitting on eggs that began piping (I think it's called) at what first saw was about 8 hrs ago. Momma is still on them but a couple of hours ago I noticed a couple of them have large portions of the shell gone with membrane still intact. I could even see one moving...
