Got up for work at 3am and boom four more floofs in the incubator. Two eggs left for Rosecombs and three for Rainbowes End plus the Spitzhauben are pipping.

And then another pops out. It's not even one that was piped. 🤣

We have a baby! #9 of Rainbows End has hatched!

We did New York strip stake, green beans w/ bacon n mushrooms, buttered carrots, baked acorn squash buttered and seasoned w/ pepper, garlic, salt and sage, sweet potato casserole. I also made deviled eggs for the first time and got the boil on the eggs perfect.

More pips but none out yet.

First pip is on a Rainbows End eggs and its #9.

This is where I am right now! Been checking the eggs every few hrs sence yesterday evening.

Bantams maybe this evening or tomorrow. The LF tomorrow though Saturday. The 25th is 22days. I set the evening of the 3rd.

I'm trying really hare not to count the chicks before they hatch. But the Greenfire eggs might be 100% hatch rate on shipped eggs.

Update on eggs! All the Greenfire eggs are great! The Rosecombs are also doing great! My own eggs (Rainbows End) We have lost the two iffy ones. Number 7 and 12. Seven grew a bit more and then quit. Twelve was blood ring and remained more clear than seven. There was movement from all the...
