They are all fully feathered I think, the little ones haven’t been full on quacking but sometimes they make weird noises. Casper still barely makes any sound when he makes noises, he’s super quiet lol I might have a penciled pair

Yeah I hope they’re both hens or at least one is. Because otherwise I’ll have to make a drake only flock and separate Casper from his friends

Not yet, they’re still making chirping noises. The brooder had to be wedges in between my mini fridge and dresser since apparently Cupid can jump a foot high now :rolleyes:. In the front I unfolded a cardboard box since they like jumping on the brooder plate to get out too.

It probably passes genetically too, I’ve read something before that said a man with many sisters is more likely to have a daughter, and a man with many brothers is more likely to have a son. I don’t remember how true it is, or if there was a study (I’m pretty sure there was though).

Yes the 2 bigger ones are sexed as female, I’m just making sure they’re sexed correctly. The younger 2 are 4 weeks

The babies are 2 weeks younger, and the bigger ones were mean to them, so they had to be separate. They’re also a lot smaller since they’re calls too.

Bananas feathers look so soft like a marshmallow

How do I get the videos uploaded to YouTube to not be such poor quality? And here’s some pictures from when they were drying off yesterday. Lacie and Cupid have also started growing feathers. I’ll upload another duck video in a minute. Cherrys neck is so thick, and her head is a fat wedge shape...

Cherry is the Magpie, Banana is the runner, and Casper is the white call. Cupid is the yellower penciled call, and Lacie is the dark one

Ikrr, and do you mean that Cherry was making specifically deals or hen noises? Or just adult ones. Casper is still sandwich size

So far I think Banana is definitely a girl, Cherry might be a boy, and Casper might be a boy. I’ll record their voices again after school. Pretty sure Bananas been making hen noises
