Amazing! I was able to see the chick internally pipped into the air sack with both of Henny’s chicks last Nov. that was amazing to see. I careful put the eggs back in the position I found them under her. She is such a good mama
This is Betty all grown up now
20 eggs today.
Had a run on egg sales this week sold 13 dozen eggs this week and have an order for 6 dozen on Tuesday which likely won’t happen. Though I do have two full dozen on hand so might happen….
My Hoover Hatchery chicks are over 3 weeks old now and think the barn is a terrific place...
Marvellous!
I sell enough to pay for their feed and most of the horses grain also.
I told the horses they needed to up their game and pay their way, I tried putting horse poopies in the egg crates but for some reason people wouldn’t buy them!

19 eggs today including 3 silkie eggs and one under Butterscotch (not to be confused with...

I have literally no room in my freezer and if I did we don’t use that many eggs to warrant that.
I just give them away to friends and family when I can’t sell them. And if I can’t do that - we’ll just cringe at the thought of people who are hungry and me throwing eggs out.
Oh gosh! Glad I am not a toad!!!
My 7 month old silkie pullet pummelled a poor small snake into oblivion and slurped it down like spaghetti! Good show Fluffy!
Silly people. So fickle!
I have about 4 regular clients that but eggs and then I get others dropping by from time to time. Any extras I give to the family and friends.
But I ended up throwing out a bunch of eggs - breaks my heart. Can’t even give them to the food bank as they are not...
