Entry #3 Getting crowded in there! Every year the Barn Swallows raise a couple broods of chicks - usually about 5 at a time. I usually have about 3 or 4 pairs - last year though I only had the one pair raise youngsters.

Yes 😊 there quite a few snakes (and their shed skins) around here in the summer. My chicks had a blast all summer chasing and harassing the snakes - Garters and Milk snakes. Those are the two most common here. NOT AN ENTRY These three brats were trying to see who would get the snake first 😊
