I don’t fish for a living 😊 and really not much of my extended family do anymore either - there is a moratorium on fishing Cod in Newfoundland. Some do still fish for crab and lobster. Most have moved or work in the oil fields in Alberta or in mines to make a living.

Oh wow! Now that’s a dinosaur! What a wonder creature! I saw on the News this past winter where they were frozen in place in the ice - tough creatures!

Getting crowded in there!
Every year the Barn Swallows raise a couple broods of chicks - usually about 5 at a time. I usually have about 3 or 4 pairs - last year though I only had the one pair raise youngsters.
Yes 😊 there quite a few snakes (and their shed skins) around here in the summer.
My chicks had a blast all summer chasing and harassing the snakes - Garters and Milk snakes. Those are the two most common here.
