Success! I really had thought I wouldn't get much out of these, but I think I count at least four out so far.

Got a batch of Celadons set to hatch on the fourth. Fingers crossed for a good hatch - they were delayed in shipping, and had a rough trip because a lot arrived cracked. Honestly I didn't think they'd do anything, but the majority actually developed.

I set 25 Pearl Fee eggs today. Gonna set some jumbo pharoahs in the next few days too. Incubator space is, hilariously, an issue. I still have emus in the big incubator, so even though normally I could easily set a thousand eggs, right now I'm stuck with just my Nurture Right, which already has...

Do you, by any chance, know the genetics behind the Ivory color in Ringnecks? I bought a few eggs on a whim and only one is looking good, so I'm gonna get some other ringnecks to keep it with but not sure how the color breeds.

Just candled my EHAL Myshire mix. I had to pull five, but the rest are either definitely developing or I couldn't tell for sure because they're dark.

The results of my hatch from Cajunboy: Got a few blacks out of the black replacement eggs :) Also what appears to be some Pearl Fees, and I'm hoping the darker ones are Sparklies.

I gotta contact him since he was gonna send replacements but with the holidays it's been crazy. I bought 10, he sent 10, then four were cracked. Out of the six survivors, three hatched, but one pitched itself upside down into a dip between the incubator floor and the water tray and killed...

I sell on eBay, so I know there's a way to block bidders by username; I hope that's not what happened here. Unfortunately as a seller on eBay it's really easy to get jerked around by bad buyers; you can't even leave them bad feedback any more. I do get nervous myself if someone with 0 feedback...

I got ahold of some hatching eggs for blacks from K.Dale lines. Unfortunately 4 of the 10 eggs arrived cracked, but the seller is gonna replace them after the holidays. They went into the incubator today, which means that if any hatch, they will be Christmas quail :)

@Enthusiast do you think you'll be selling eggs for your black quail separately? I bought a variety box and had a good hatch, and I was hopeful some of the darker ones were blacks but now I'm not so sure.

I think I'm gonna get some Celadon hatching eggs. I'd like to get some new blood in my flock since basically they are all based on one hen. Granted, one hen mated to different males, so it's not like all the birds are full siblings, but still, I want to avoid trouble down the line.

My K. Dale eggs are hatching. Three out so far :) The newest looks like it might possibly be black.
