Chicory contains a lot of inulin. I have problems with inulin, specifically, gas. I eat a lot of foods that contain it, anyway. Some of the protein bars I used to buy had quite a bit in them. Eat one bar, and I had a lot of gas. I made the mistake of eating two only once.
When I make coffee in the French press, I use half regular, half decaf. I drink 2 (biggish) cups of that. Hubby makes regular in a coffee maker, and I have a half of the biggish cup of that. I've been drinking a mug of green tea too.

Actually, what I've read about sleep is proving to me that it is CRITICAL to health. That's when the brain does a lot of "housekeeping" and the body does a lot of behind the scenes maintenance.
